The sound of my doorbell ringing brought me running out of my bedroom, down the stairs and to the front door. A dear friend, a big sister figure was paying me a 5-minutes surprise visit. She was in my locality doing some shopping and she decided to stop by as we hadn’t seen each other in a while.

Celebrate Yourself, God Celebrates You!

Birthdays are wonderful! They are my next best celebration after weddings.
When I was a child, my understanding of birthday was that it was a day to celebrate. It didn’t matter if I had a party or not, my parents and siblings made me feel the day was special, it was a day to celebrate me. I remember having a big party when I turned 10. My parents had a lovely six bedroom house with ample outdoor garden space where my friends and I had a lovely time celebrating.
